Happiness... it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.

BAR CODE (2 Perspective  Building)

Picture
This building is my favorite work. I was inspired in the Black Berry Bar Code. Our society is plagued by this smart phones. This is a way to demonstrate that we now only think about Black Berry. This building is in 2 perspective. The materials where basic, colored pencils, markers, lots of patience and creativity.

The process to draw this was long and it required lots of patience. The most difficult part of the drawing was to keep everything with the correct perspective. I had to be really cautious when I drew the ornaments of my building. If something didnt go well it could look really bad. The size of the street and the posts was tricky to draw, because the main thing is the building not the street.

Our Lady Of Paris

Picture
This is a drawing of the back side of the Notre Dame Cathedral or also known as "Our Lady of Paris". This was the 1st drawing of a building I ever made. It is full of ornaments and columns, and has a gothic style. I was inspire to do this draqing because I recently visited Paris and I loved the cathedral. I used to walk by it everyday.

This drawing is not perfect at all. It looks like the cathedral. But the perspective is really wierd. We can see that the church looks as if the floor isnt straight. It was difficult to draw the ornaments and gargoils identical because they are really detailed. Another difficult thing to draw where the windows.

Practice Grid Drawing

Picture
This is a car in the middle of the desert. The idea was to draw something exactly the same as a picture. This is proportionate with the small drawing. this car inspired me because it may mean a lot of things. Maybe this car is abandoned and the owner may have a misterious story.

The difficult part of drawing this was to follow the grid. I prefer to draw without the grid because it leaves some space for my creativity and skills. Following the grid so it is perfect made me be very perfectionist.
